Al-Awsat fi al-Sunan wa’l-Ijmaa wa’l-Ikhlaaf is a jurisprudential book written by Imam Ibn al-Mundhir al-Nisaburi (241 AH - 318 AH). The book is considered a summary of another book by the author, which is Al-Sunan Al-Mabsut. The author divided the book into jurisprudential books, as is the custom of those who write in the science of jurisprudence. However, he did not classify the issues within the single book. Rather, he used to mention titles and drive under them the issues he wanted to talk about, and he used to start by mentioning the jurisprudential issue.
